Yesterday, R turned 5 months old. Not only did she cut her first tooth, but she also was introduced to solids. She reacted as the all do, with the "What is this stuff you just put in my mouth?" look. Of course we had to take pictures.
The other two were interested in the new games to be played. J really wanted to feed R as well, as he thinks this is part of his job as big brother. I told him when she got a little bit bigger I'd let him.
So then, J says he wants to try it. This is the most basic baby food there is... plain old rice cereal mixed with water. No fruits, no veggies, no spices. But who are we to stop our children from trying new things?
Yes, J was pretty much about to cry while sitting there with that rice cereal in his mouth. On the other hand, E actually liked it and finished the bowl. E also wants to be sitting back in the high chair again. Crazy kids.
