My kids are human of course and have their ups and downs. However, it is obvious that they do love each other and appreciate each others' company (even if sometimes it is for pestering purposes).
A couple of months ago, we FINALLY got R to start saying 'bite' for food instead of just grunting. Little J tends toward being a slow eater. So he is generally the last one at the table. So here's the cute part -
R will go over to him and say 'bite, bite' and he'll start sharing whatever he has left. Even if it's his favorite part! It's so sweet. A part of me wonders if I will regret it later, but at the moment all I can see is the good. He's unselfishly sharing with his little sister and seems to really enjoy doing it! You gotta love being able to witness that kind of interaction. :)

That depends on what he is sharing: green beans or cake? :)
