The fruits of our labor

Big J harvested the first bit from our veggie garden last night... some buttercrunch lettuce!  Once it reaches a certain height, you can start taking

 off leaves from the outside.  It's still a bit early, but we had enough for one bowl of salad.  Here is Big J adding some salad dressing.

Yum!  Tastes good!  :)  

It was really neat to eat such bright green lettuce and know that there were no pesticides used on it.  And here is a picture taken of our garden last weekend after we planted another half row of veggies.
