J has heard us discussing his height and is interested but not quite able to grasp the whole concept. Here he is asking "How long are you?" to his sister. After looking at the measuring tape he'll say something like "a half inches long." He has some of the vocabulary! 
And here they are helping Daddy hold the hose while he waters our new vegetable garden. This is probably the most help they were able to be during the whole "make a garden" process.
And we musn't forget baby R. So happy and content! While she was awake she got to keep an eye on things from her stroller.
