Rest time

At our house, J now has what we call 'big boy rest time' every day while his sisters nap. That means his door is not shut and he is not required to sleep, but he does have the option.

We just finished the big bedroom switch and his rest time now takes place in the nursery. A couple of months ago, while at lunch with a friend, J overheard her mention how her son (his best bud) sometimes makes a bed on the floor for himself. We all know how attentive J can be and this idea stuck in his brain. He has slept in all sorts of places and positions since that nugget was planted.

The other day I walked by the room and saw this sight -


(With all the room switching and new furniture, the nursery has become the holding spot for misc furniture including the white shelf in the picture above.)
