Stating the obvious

Tonight I was cooking dinner while J and E were out in the backyard playing happily and sweetly together. Looking out every now and then I knew what they were doing, but figured it was good for them so let it continue. Now remember, it has been raining and raining and raining here lately (FINALLY!) And what does rain create a lot of?

A lull comes in the cooking process and I walk outside. E looks up at me and says "We're playing in the mud!" (Notice the what were once white socks on her feet)
