Today was our first backyard pool day of the year. Our pool from previous years still has 'some' sand left in it from E's party. I was planning to buy a second one this year anyway (due to having 3 growing kids who want to play in it) so Big J and I got this on our Mother's Day date night. Same size, different color.
The weather was warm today but also windy. As you can see, the kids don't care. They happily soaked themselves.
For the end result, see the picture below. Notice that the water level is significantly lower than in the one above. Also notice the color of the water.
They 'made mud water' as I was told. Doesn't that look like fun?
