Today we tried a new art technique... painting with ice cubes. All you do is add a little food coloring to the water in the ice cube trays and put it in the freezer. After 45 minutes or so, add half a popsicle stick to be used later as a handle. Then allow the ice to fully freeze.
At painting time, pull the tray out for a few minutes and the ice comes out easily. The kids enjoyed painting and would have liked me to give the 3-4 sheets of paper each. We stuck with one this time around.
Then we took the ice cubes outside and painted on the porch. (Mommy didn't have to worry about the mess this way... smart, huh?)
Baby T didn't partake of the fun inside, but helped himself to some fun outside. (This means he decided to taste the ice cubes.) Then his big sister R and big brother P decided to taste them, too.
