More singing

The Moms Together Bible Study that I have been a part of this past year ended today.  It has been a huge blessing in my life and I will miss it!  Hopefully it will work out where I can participate again next year.  We'll just have to wait and see how things go with adding a 5th child into the mix of 'regular' life.  :)

Anywho, today the moms had a very nice brunch and share time.  Following this, the children (ages 2 and up) performed some of the songs that they had learned throughout the year.  Here are the kids watching as all the moms assembled for the performance.  J is in the top middle.  E and R are next to each other in the middle of the group.  E has on a light pink shirt with dark pink skirt and R has on a dark pink shirt with blue plaid capris.

I have been VERY impressed with their children's program as it isn't merely childcare, but has singing/teaching/crafts/snack/play time all in turn.  The kids also learned a Bible story or lesson each week.  The year started off rough with P absolutely HATING being left.  He has been quite the Mama's boy and was very much not used to being left with strangers.  R had a month or so of rough times but slowly settled in.  She still resisted actually going and often cried (or screamed) when I dropped her off.  But her teachers were so sweet and wonderful and she was over being upset within minutes.  J and E on the other hand quickly grew to love going to the 'fun Bible study.'  They were given a regular taste of being in a large group of kids there own age which was a new experience for them.

So here are the kids singing.  You can't hear the individual voices like the videos taken at our church, but you've got to love all the enthusiastic motions!  Enjoy!
