Too many new blog posts? Ah well, I'm trying to enjoy the moments. And there are more moments with P now that napping is soooo not going well in his new big kid bed. More on that one another time...
For now, the happy topic of painting with water! Each of the kids received a new house paint brush in their Easter basket. If you've never tried it before, it is a GREAT hot weather activity. There is very little that the kids are not allowed to 'paint' outside... pretty much just Daddy's grill (and Mommy). Kids like all that freedom. :)
Today there was some painting of the fence, the porch, the slide, the wagon, the balance beam and a little bit of each other. P really, REALLY enjoyed dipping (read slapping) his paintbrush around in the bucket, occasionally dumping some on himself in the process.
Below are a few of my favorite pictures from the day. (The rest are online here.) The play ended with some 'sprinkling rain' from the hose (courtesy of Mommy). The kids had a blast but time had to be called when the 2 younger ones began throwing a fit at the same time. Happy times!
